Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was born to a British father and an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements as a kid. Anna moved to Toronto in November 1999 to pursue her acting talents. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her partner in 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony.
